The tour
Embark on an exclusive adventure on the “Ulysses Coast” departing from the picturesque port of Catania. Our starting point is the Blu Marina pier, where we will set sail at 9:00 am for a four-hour cruise along the Sicilian coast, rich in history and mythology.
During the journey, we will pass by the suggestive area of Ognina, notable for its lava flow of 1693, until we reach the fascinating Ulysses Caves, where the tale of legends that resonate in the echoes of the times will begin. As we approach Aci Castello, we will hear stories of its majestic castle of Byzantine origin, built on a cliff that rises proudly towards the sea.
The Arrival in Aci Trezza
Our arrival in Aci Trezza will be marked by mooring on a reserved buoy near the legendary Faraglioni. Here, we will offer you a detailed explanation of the geological formation of the stacks and the legends that surround them, including the famous story of Lachea Island and the Cyclops reserve.
Among the planned activities, you will have the opportunity to explore the vivid seabed by doing guided snorkeling or enjoy the sea more serenely with a SUP and paddle. We will also have a dedicated moment to take a group photo, which you can easily download via a QR code provided by us.
Sicilian aperitif
To further enrich your experience, we will serve a typical Sicilian aperitif accompanied by prosecco, to be enjoyed while immersing yourself in the beauty of the surrounding landscape. For our aperitif, we use locally sourced products from qualified and certified producers like Caseificio La Cava and Mulinello.
Our fleet
We have 2 boats available: the Emmanuel sailing ship and the Piper vessel. Depending on the number of participants, your group will be divided into one of the two boats, so you have more space to enjoy the tour and relax.
Return and Second Lap
We will return to port at 2:00 PM, ready to leave again in the afternoon at 3:00 PM for a second tour that will follow the same route, ending at 8:00 PM.
